Well Made is a nutrition practice that focuses on finding peace with your body, healing your relationship with food and teaching self-patience and self-compassion. Through a series of nutrition counseling sessions, you will be provided the tools to implement healthy behaviors that feel good for your body, versus the common "quick fix fad diet."

During weekly meetings, together with Well Made's professional Nutritionist Chelsea Caravella, you will create action-based goals for body nourishment, receive relevant food and nutrition education, and work through any existing challenges, concerns and barriers for your well-being. The holistic counseling approach includes all lifestyle factors: physical, nutritional, mental, emotional, social, environmental and spiritual, as well. By learning the practice of mindfulness and self-awareness, you can create positive behavior changes to infuse everyday with more self-nourishment, body kindness and overall peace.

Well Made was founded in 2016 by Chelsea Caravella, an independent Nutritionist in Montclair, NJ and a Youth Food Educator in NYC.

Chelsea earned her Bachelor of  Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science, Cum Laude honors, from Montclair State University; studied the concepts of the Mediterranean diet and Vegetarian cooking in Italy; and completed a nutrition intervention internship at Hackensack University Medical Center. She is currently working on her Masters of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences.

She believes that by creating balanced, mindful, nourishing lifestyles (which includes creating enjoyable experiences around food and eating) we can improve health outcomes.

Chelsea created Well Made with the purpose to help individuals reconnect to food and their body; to guide them on how to heal their bodies through whole, nature-based, holistic nutrition; and to teach simply how to best nourish their body and self. Having struggled with her relationship with food and her body herself, Chelsea understands the challenges that arise everyday based on this disconnect and how it can prevent us from living truly full, satisfying lives. Knowing this, she provides the proper tools and nutrition therapy techniques to begin rebuilding this connection based on core values so that a stronger sense of self-awareness and self-compassion is attained and healing begins. Well Made is here to guide individuals to love the food that loves them back, and most importantly, to care for the body you’re in presently, every day.
